Define the business area and decision makers
Identify the site representative who can authorize work and confirm which areas are released for access. A tenant's workspace, landlord-controlled corridor, back-of-house room, and neighboring unit may each have different responsibilities. Cleaning cannot proceed simply because a business wants to resume trading; safe access and the necessary permissions come first.
Tell us about retained stock, confidential records, guest belongings, and equipment that must not be moved or treated without approval. We can discuss cleaning priorities around those constraints, but a cleaning assessment does not establish structural or electrical safety, occupation fitness, food safety, or regulatory permission to reopen.

Plan offices and retail around retained assets
In offices, accessible desks, partitions, shelving, doors, and other retained hard surfaces may need different treatment from upholstered furniture, papers, and electronic equipment. In retail, display fittings and shop finishes must be considered separately from merchandise. Surface cleaning does not certify that stock is saleable or that electronic devices are safe to use.
Where suitable, dry removal of loose soot comes before controlled cleaning of smoke films. Trial areas help protect decorative finishes and establish likely outcomes. Agree how unaffected areas will be separated and how staff or other contractors will avoid moving residue across those boundaries during the cleaning stage.

Set specific limits for restaurants and kitchens
A kitchen incident can combine smoke residues with existing grease, food debris, and heat damage. The assessment must distinguish fire-related cleaning from routine kitchen degreasing and identify accessible retained surfaces. A heavily soiled appliance or grease-affected assembly should not be assumed recoverable through a general cleaning pass.
Appliance internals, electrical or gas components, extraction systems, and inaccessible grease deposits require explicit scope decisions and appropriate qualified contractors. Exterior appliance cleaning is not a safe-operation check. We do not certify food-contact suitability, clear stored food for use, or provide a regulatory reopening approval. Food and stock decisions remain with the responsible business and relevant advisers.

Coordinate hotel and phased-area requirements
Hotels and larger commercial premises may have separate guest, public, and back-of-house routes. Discuss management restrictions, room access, retained furnishings, and any work proposed alongside other contractors. Phased cleaning can only be considered where site conditions and clear separation make it appropriate; it is not a declaration that unaffected operations can safely continue.
Porous contents and heat-damaged materials may need replacement or specialist evaluation. Odor management begins with source removal and smoke residue cleaning, not fogging alone. No permanent odor result is guaranteed. Concealed sources and retained materials should be recorded as limitations rather than hidden behind an open-ended promise of full restoration.

Agree the handover and outstanding work
A commercial quotation should identify included zones, surfaces, selected contents, access dependencies, and the boundary with other trades. Structural repairs, reconstruction, repainting, electrical, plumbing, engineering, hazardous materials, AC ducts, laboratory tests, insurance loss assessment, and fire certification are excluded unless separately quoted and confirmed. Suspected asbestos, chemicals, or unstable structures require qualified specialists.
At completion, the agreed cleaning work and remaining limitations should be reviewed with the authorized representative. Reopening, system commissioning, regulatory approval, and insurance decisions remain outside that cleaning handover. Contact Cleanology Qatar with the business type, location, access status, and proposed priorities to discuss whether an assessment can be arranged.
